ABOUT IFCII 2025
Entering 2025, global sustainable development faces severe challenges. The progress of the 2030 development goals is off track. At this critical juncture when the international community needs to work closely and accelerate actions, the US government announced its withdrawal from the "Paris Agreement", froze aid funds from the US Agency for International Development, and launched a backlash against DEI (i.e., "diversity, equity, and inclusive" initiatives). On the other side of the Atlantic, Europe is considering simplifying disclosure requirements, raising concerns over the regression of European sustainability legislations.

Discussion:Financing for Rural Sustainable Development
In 2025, China's rural revitalization strategy implementation faces new opportunities and challenges. Financial services, as important tools supporting rural sustainable development, require in-depth discussion regarding innovative pathways and effective models. Against the backdrop of resource and environmental constraints and digital transformation, building a modern financial service system adapted to China's comprehensive rural sustainable development has become a key link in promoting all-around rural revitalization.

This panel brings together experts from policy research departments, academic institutions, international organizations, and practical fields to engage in professional exchanges on topics such as financial promotion of rural governance optimization, support for industrial structure adjustment, and advancement of green transformation. Through a combination of policy interpretation, theoretical analysis, and practical case studies, participants will collectively explore effective approaches for financial support of rural sustainable development, providing constructive suggestions for improving rural financial policy systems and innovating financial service models.
